nazi war criminal[edit]

The most notorious massacre of Jews in the Soviet Union was at a ravine called Babi Yar outside Kiev, where 33,771 Jews were killed in a single operation on September 29–30, 1941. The killing of all the Jews in Kiev was decided on by the military governor (Major-General **Friedrich Eberhardt), the Police Commander for Army Group South (SS-Obergruppenführer Friedrich Jeckeln) and the Einsatzgruppe C Commander Otto Rasch. The killings were carried out by a mixture of SS, SD and Security Police, assisted by Ukrainian police. In addition, men of the 6th Army through they not did participate in the killings, played a key role in rounding up the Jews of Kiev and transporting them to be shot at Babi Yar.[116] from: "The Holocaust," wikipedia page. 74.239.209.92 (talk) 07:35, 28 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Do not trust wikipedia. That person was Kurt Eberhard, not Friedrich-Georg Eberhardt. 87.188.188.231 (talk) 07:47, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Scherzer[edit]

I don't think that Scherzer provides any more info on individual recipients than Fellgiebel does; see for example the citations area of List_of_Knight's_Cross_of_the_Iron_Cross_recipients_(Bn–Bz)#References, " Scherzer 2007, p. 239" -- almost three dozen entries per page.

Thus, the source does not really provide anything to expand the article with. WP:FURTHER applies as well. K.e.coffman (talk) 03:08, 8 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Really, so you have a copy of Scherzer? Or have seen one? The amount of information on individual people varies significantly, but Scherzer is not a mere index as I understand Fellgiebel to be, it usually contains early life info, dates of promotions, awards, postings etc, all useful biographical information. WP:FURTHER is not relevant here, this is a useful source for anyone wanting to expand the article. Why would you remove it? Cheers, Peacemaker67 (click to talk to me) 03:16, 8 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Peacemaker67: Do you happen to have a sample page you could email to me? K.e.coffman (talk) 03:19, 8 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Certainly, send me an email and I'll send you one I have for another general. In the meantime I'll try to get a copy of Eberhardt's entry. But I'd appreciate an answer to the question. So you are not familiar with it at all? Have never seen an entry? If so, your deletion of it seems odd. Cheers, Peacemaker67 (click to talk to me) 03:23, 8 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I sent you an email. Why would WP:FURTHER not apply? K.e.coffman (talk) 21:09, 8 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
