First name[edit]

The Oxford Dictionary of National Biography, The National Archives, Who's Who, and the Times obit all have Weatherly's first name as Frederic. The British Library catalogue has 121 listings for him as Frederic (and 2 as Frederick). I think we can take it that his name was Frederic. I'll move the page from "Frederick Weatherly" to "Frederic Weatherly" unless anyone objects. - Tim riley (talk) 09:09, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Roses of Picardy[edit]

Roses of Picardy is not technically a wartime song. It was written just prior to WW1.Royalcourtier (talk) 00:09, 16 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
