It should also be noted that F.G. also sold many of the artifacts he collected to museums -- not just donated. The Denver Art Museum has in the neighborhood of 1000 items they purchased from him (I once requested the list). In the 70's I remember seeing F.G.'s name on displays in the museum, but DAM changed their policy to display names only on donated/loaned items and his name is now absent on items he collected. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.109.196.34 (talk) 17:30, 21 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

W. N. Fenton[edit]

The publication listed as "Contacts between Iroquois herbalism and colonial medicine" (1941) ISBN 0-8466-4032-5 seems to have been written by W. N. Fenton, or at least he is the credited author. Speck could have had a hand in the work? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.160.218.42 (talk) 21:08, 14 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Bird Lore of the Northern Indians[edit]

1921 Book? Article? I'm not seeing it discussed here. Seems interesting. FloridaArmy (talk) 17:01, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Or is it by N. W. Jipson? FloridaArmy (talk) 17:06, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
