LGBT?[edit]

Why is he categorised in Category:LGBT writers from Australia? There's nothing in the article I can see that would suggest this. -- ♬ Jack of Oz[your turn] 13:02, 13 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, what an utter dickhead I am sometimes! The editor who added the LGBT/bisexual categories was none other than yours truly, and I did so because the text talks about his bisexual lifestyle. Just ignore me. I put it down to advancing Alzheimers. -- ♬ Jack of Oz[your turn] 10:18, 14 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Postings by the content taken directly from the author's agent blog pages on Moorhouse[edit]

It would appear that there is a fair amount of content posting on this page that has been sourced directly from the author's agent and that there is a lack of referencing back to the orignal source. This is most notable in both the lead section and the Opinions of his work sections of the article. It would appear that the lead has been sourced from here. And the Opinions of his work section has been sourced from here. Caution should be exercised in trying to ensure, as much as possible, reputable third party references are obtained as much as possible. Rangasyd (talk) 13:38, 14 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal[edit]

I propose that Martini: A Memoir be merged into Frank Moorhouse#Reviews and critiques. I think that the content in the Martini article, that relates primarily to a critique from his former wife, can easily be explained in the context of Moorhouse section on reviews, and the Moorhouse article is of a reasonable size that the merging of Martini will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. The Martini has already been tagged as possibly not meeting general notability guidelines. Rangasyd (talk) 14:07, 14 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I think that's a good way of dealing with the article. Ka Faraq Gatri (talk) 23:07, 22 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
