Proposal for Deletion[edit]

The subject of this article does not meet Wikipedia guidelines for notability. The list of "books" cited in the article has much overlap with the list of "books" in the articles of certain other individuals (e.g., Alwyn Van der Merwe), and it evidently just denotes contributors to edited volumes, and these do not meet the Wikipedia guidelines for reputable sources. Also, the linked biography is at the web site of Natural Philosophy Alliance, a well known organization of physics cranks, not a reputable scientific organization. Also, there are no secondary sources on Mr Selleri, which is a strong indication of lack of notability.

Also, the editor who created this page (Webmaster6) may have a conflict of interest, since he created or edited (almost exclusively) the articles on Alwyn Van der Merwe ‎and the Foundation of Physics and other articles, all closely associated with the subject of this article. 130.76.32.182 (talk) 19:31, 21 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not vandalize my article, it is under construction. Your reason is ridiculous just google his name. I just do not understand how you could be able to nominate an article for deletion with your ip address?!? --Webmaster6 (talk) 21:47, 22 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
This is not your article, and I did not vandalize it, I simply nominated it for deletion, because the subject doesn't meet the Wikipedia guidelines for notability. Generating hits on google does not constitute notability. There are no reputable secondary sources on this individual. Also, for your information, IP addresses are LESS anonymous than fictitious user IDs, which permit anonymity. 130.76.32.23 (talk) 16:50, 23 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
University of Bari (Italy) - where Prof.(not Mr.) Selleri teaches - is not a cranck association. Nor are Physical Review, Physical Review Letters, Foundations of Physics and other peer review journal where Prof. published his works years before he was a member of NPA (or being a member of NPA cancel these facts?).For a complete list of Prof. Selleri works please refers to: http://www.uniurb.it/Filosofia/selleri%20inglese.htm. As far as I can see your edits are not meant to vandalise the article. Qualifying this edit as vandalism by a bot is clearly incorrect, maybe triggered by the addition of your signature ~~~~ to the article edit. I have reported it on the bot approval page. But please get yourself acquainted with how to edit, see e.g. WP:HOW. Since your last edit to the article, a large list of not marked-up references, ruined the appearance of the article. Adding an external link to where this list can be found -- instead of the list itself -- will be more appropriate, to my opinion. -- Crowsnest (talk) 10:58, 5 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
