Tsotsitaal not used in the film[edit]

I hope I get some response! In my opinion, there is no tsotsitaal in the movie. Tsotsitaal is what you get in the movie Tsotsi, and is particularly charactersitic of Johburg.

That said, the use of language is actually far more complex than the tiny summary provided here. The cop (Tito) for instance modulates his language enormously depending on whom he is addressing. Layla when she talks to her friend in England sounds completely English but in talking to South Africans adopts a different accent, which reveals her roots in the community (not entirely successfully by the otherwise excellent Lindiwe Matshikiza). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Henri.laurie (talk • contribs) 07:54, 2 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
