Untitled[edit]

I did a medium cleanup of the article; however it strikes me as being too short and in need of more sections (History, Modern, Tourism, etc.). Dosboss 23:37, 25 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I added several sections, expanded the history section and made links and references to sources. Buster40004 Talk 14:42, 20 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Garrison Flag[edit]

Never defined what a garrison flag is. In Wikipedia, it only references the Star Spangled Banner flag, without explanation. I can kinda sorta see what it might be, but some military historian could possibly explain. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bluefox79830 (talkcontribs) 17:10, 30 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A garrison flag is a US Army term for an extra-large national flag that is flown on Sundays, holidays, and special occasions. I updated the article lead. RobDuch (talk) 03:55, 10 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
