The United Kingdom of Great Britain[edit]

The UK was formed in 1707. Great Britain was never officially styled the "Kingdom of Great Britain". From the beginning of 1801, "and Ireland" was added to the style and the Irish Parliament abolished. The words, "and Ireland" were replaced with "and Northern Ireland", in about 1927, after the creation of the Irish Free State [6.12.22], which is now known as "The Republic of Ireland". --—Preceding unsigned comment added by Dimadick (talk • contribs) 13:34, 25 September 2008

Results?[edit]

What's up with the results here? If Pitt's supporters had 6 seats, they should be third, not second, and either way that certainly doesn't constitute 17.4% of the seats.--Pig house (talk) 18:13, 12 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
