Untitled[edit]

All-new article I wrote this article with the intention of filling the "wikipedic" void for a reliable, comprehensive and organized source of information on the topic of movie release. This article happens to overlap others such as film release (which I believe should be trimmed to only incorporate info on release and not distribution), video window (which at this point could be made into a redirect to this page) and others. I personally think we should take a broader view on all these articles (detailing movie release, distribution, etc.) to decide whether to put this or that piece of info in one article rather than another. While writing this article, I tried my best to organize all the info the best way I could. All relevant claims are backed up by ref's except for maybe a couple; it's no perfect article so... feel free to improve it. Cioko (talk) 08:03, 22 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

52 weeks[edit]

Why does the article not mention the roughly one-year theatrical window for some movies, such as Hop? --Damian Yerrick (talk | stalk) 12:52, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Release window redirect[edit]

Release window redirects here. Since the term is also widely used for music albums and video games, I think it would be more appropriate for the redirect to point to a more general page. -- Gordon Ecker, WikiSloth (talk) 07:01, 18 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
