This sounds like an ad for the town in some places. Well written, but it just seems a little too chamber-of-commerce-ish.

House Parties Ordinance?[edit]

The following was in the *Economy* section. I've removed it pending someone finding a citation for it.

Farmington has recently passed a House Parties Law, which allows Police or Parents to legally walk into a private residence if they feel that there is suspicious behavior and there is some need for intervention

Battle of Gettysburg?[edit]

I doubt that Rochambeau was en route to Gettysburg during the American Revolution, since the Battle of Gettysburg was fought during the Civil War!—Preceding unsigned comment added by DGerlach (talk • contribs)

Image:FarmingtonCTseal.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. I removed a few people from this section because they did not have their own Wikipedia article, which is required to establish notability per Wikipedia guidelines. The information I removed is: Eric Ashmont, 93.3 KDKB radio host "Shmonty", born at University of Connecticut Health Center, attended Farmington High School, Jenah Doucette, former fashion model, placed third on the ninth "cycle" of the hit reality show America's Next Top Model, graduated from Farmington High School^[1] and Alex Truncali, notorious hot air balloon pilot from 2006-2012.
