Having spent some time in Faridabad, I have to tell you that it really does not have any tourist attractions of which I am aware. However, I wanted to raise the point here to see if anyone else has any thoughts on the subject, before I add that to the section.--Tomstoner 16:10, 9 February 2006 (UTC)

The literacy map is fascinating. However, it some of the colors are almost identical, making the map hard to interpret. Can this be addressed?--Tomstoner 16:12, 9 February 2006 (UTC)

Created List of education facilities in Faridabad and moved the list from Faridabad. thevikas (talk) 08:26, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

Just citing the recent edits being made to this page. I want to tell the people who make pathetic edits such as, Faridabad being a good place, people here being lovely, are nothing but stupid and utter nonsense. The people making such edits should realize that this page is meant for giving encyclopedia and important information about the city, not for advertising the place or trying to make the page better than those of other cities. I am myself a resident of Faridabad, and I hate seeing such stupid updates being made on this page, by stupid people. Deleted Promo

I have deleted the following content as this was advertisement in nature.

Real Estate Sector

Faridabad has great potential for real estate development especially due its unique geographical location which provide easy access to all prominent places in NCR viz., South Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida and Greater Noida. Though real estate development is happening all over Faridabad but the area which has potential for development of world-class facilities is Greater Faridabad or Neharpar. The real estate sector in Greater Faridabad is booming and will be going to be very promising in future. Greater Faridabad is much more affordable and at the same time superior in several factors[1] The facilities being provided in the residential complexes are of international standards including lavish gardens, covered parking, podiums, sports and recreational facilities, health complexes, business centers, clubs, swimming pools to name a few. One of the main advantages of residential complexes in Greater Faridabad over Noida and Greater Noida is the nature of ownership.-- Pankaj Jain Capankajsmilyo (talk · contribs · count) 08:46, 1 October 2015 (UTC)

Merge

The list should be merged to this article since all the schools and colleges are there in this article as well. Further non-notable institutions should be deleted from this article after merger. -- Pankaj Jain Capankajsmilyo (talk · contribs · count) 12:33, 7 October 2015 (UTC)

Your proposal does not include which "List" - I assume you mean List of education facilities in Faridabad - In which case:-
Oppose - I agree there is duplication, but, rather than merging them, leaving a disproportionately long list in this article, the schools and colleges should be removed from this page, leaving the redirect to the "list article" and a brief comment on education in general, but not listing any schools or colleges, or they will start to creep back into this article again. - Arjayay (talk) 14:25, 7 October 2015 (UTC)

Copyright issues?

It looks like the "history" section of this page was cut-and-pasted from its given source [1]. I rewrote the section in original language to avoid this issue, but I wonder if other parts of the page will need to be checked. I will do this as I go through proofreading. Zero Development in Faridabad City

I am seeing the city conditions since I was 8 years old. There are still many places which have open sivers, dirty water canals between every streets there and now I am 22 still the conditions are worse and as it is. and the people live there with these unhygenic places, sells snacks there for their livelihood. So we can't say it's the eighth growing city in the world There is zero growth in the city's development from past 22 years. Seems like there are no responsive MLA's, Ministers who really work for people and try for solving their problems Also there is no clean drinking water availability in there houses. There are tanker services that provide water by going to every street not their homes. people have to load the water containers on their cycles and have to travel carrying those to their houses. Also, there are no standard medicines available in the city mainly sanjay colony, sector 23. 2409:4050:2D8A:1B96:38FF:B5A4:3CE6:7A2 (talk) 17:00, 13 May 2021 (UTC)Priya Chauhan
