infamy?[edit]

"the infamous tubular bells" -- do we have a source for their infamy? I wasn't aware that bells could be infamous! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.163.72.2 (talk) 23:14, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have changed the wording to 'titular tubular bells'. TubularWorld (talk) 00:04, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I do not believe there is any question of their name. Perhaps removing adjective altogether would best serve the article? Nitrocloud (talk) 09:31, 1 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Clarification of the Single's Role[edit]

I tried to emphasize the role of the single for its similarity to Oldfield's previous albums. This article could be well served by critique or analysis of the composition by someone more familiar with the album as there does not seem to be much content in that regard. I can later add the track listing information for the vinyl release as well. I personally think it is a very moving piece with the short exposition followed by a bold soundscape of the bells and electric guitar. --Nitrocloud (talk) 09:55, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
