I am submitting this edit request to propose revisions and additions to the article in hopes of providing additional context about the function of his roles and clarifying an inaccuracy.

Propose adding information regarding the function of his roles as Deputy Director of the National Economic Council and Deputy Assistant to the President for International Economic Affairs.
Suggest: Updating first sentence to read (suggested additions/sourcing in bold):
Eissenstat served two non-consecutive terms as Chief International Trade Counsel for the Senate Committee on Finance (first from 2001 to 2006, then again from 2011 to 2017).
Suggest: Updating first sentence of second paragraph to the following (suggested additions/sourcing in bold):
Prior to his appointment, Eissenstat twice served as Chief International Trade Counsel for the Senate Committee on Finance (2001-2006; 2011-2017). [2][3]
Suggest: Updating second sentence of second paragraph to the following (suggested additions/sourcing in bold):
He has also served as assistant U.S. Trade Representative for the Western Hemisphere, focusing on trade agreements with Chile, Colombia, Panama and Peru. [4]
Eissenstat is referred to as a “senior lobbyist” in the third paragraph. However, Everett himself is not a registered lobbyist [5], so we would like to make sure that is reflected within the article, please.
Suggest: Removing “as a senior lobbyist” from third paragraph as to not misrepresent his status or role in the position. Proposed sentence would read:
