February 2012[edit]

This is about the suspected copyright violation for the text copied from http://www.elgra.org/History.htm (in the "history" section of the Wikipedia page). I (the author of the Wikipedia page) am actually a member of the ELGRA Management Committee. This page is intended to provide information about the missions, goals, accomplishments of ELGRA (as done for other scientific societies like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Physical_Society). Some material was indeed copied from the ELGRA website in the history section but this ELGRA website is also maintained by the Management Committee. Should I still provide an authorization from the webmaster of http://www.elgra.org ?

Also, about the fact that the author (me) is closely connected to the subject: I think the Wikipedia page provides rather factual and neutral information about ELGRA, but comments are welcome if someone feels anything needs to be cleaned up.

A new version of the History section is proposed here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:European_Low_Gravity_Research_Association/Temp It was rewritten and shortened.

Hello Thomas, there are still some close-paraphrasing problems with the re-write. As you can see here. If you wish to gain authorization for the text, follow the steps given here. For now I will have to remove the text until approved or proper. Any questions, let me know.

This page is providing neutral information about ELGRA association[edit]

I have been researching in Space Biology for more than 10 years and I consider that this page is a well description of ELGRA history, goals and mode of action. This article should be considered good enough to be published without restriction in wikipedia.
