Suggested source on "ethical cloting"
I found this article interesting:
- Charlotte Muru-Lanning (23 December 2020). "The never-ending quest to find a sexy ethical dress". The Spinoff.
I don't know if I'd call it a reliable source because it's more or less an opinion piece. However, it's well-researched, and introduced me to a topic I hadn't heard of previously, prompting me to see if Wikipedia had an article on it, which led me to this page.
That source touches on a topic that seems to be missing from this article; that is: Ethical consumers experience an internal conflict posed by environmentally-unfriendly products that are nevertheless considered a (psychological) necessity. In this case, as one person quoted put it "Sometimes you just want to look like a hoe and that's OK" — but achieving that look is incompatible with ethical consumerism because there is no such thing as an environmentally-sustainable-yet-sexy party dress. ~Anachronist (talk) 14:38, 26 December 2020 (UTC)
