Travels in New Zealand[edit]

This whole secion has been copied here from the Pink and White terraces page where it didn't belong. The Pohutukawa trees bit has been discussed in the P&W terraces talk page and in short it is not supportable by the references. I propose to delete this bit. The rest while supported needs rewritten with a more general and balanced emphasis on the whole of Diffenbach's excursion courtesy of the NZ company, including his ascent of Mt Egmont and his visit to the Chatham islands, both of which were much more notable than his brief visit to Rotomahana.Andrewgprout (talk) 09:07, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
