Questionable use of {{DNB}}[edit]

This article has a {{DNB}} tag, which asserts that some text was copied from smoewhere in the original 63-volume Dictionary of National Biography. There are several issues here:

I did multiple searches in the DNB, which is now available at Wikisource, and I can find no references to the cemetery.
I looked at the edit history of this article, and the edits near the time when the template was added do not appear to match any DNB entries.
The DNB entry in its raw form is intended for use when essentially the entire article was initally copied from a single DNB article, and when this is true, we now want to use the expanded form of the template to reference the exact DNB article rather than the 63-volume DNB as a whole.
When a specific section of an article takes text from a DNB articls, we use a different form of the template as an "attributed reference" connected to that specific text.

In its current form, the {{DNB}} tag is worse than useless. -Arch dude (talk) 17:43, 11 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree with the last statement - I have often found the DNB to be a useful tool for checking and cross-referencing information, and the template here indicates that information contained in the article has been sourced from the DNB. AFAIR, background info on William Gell, Edward Dodwell, Keppel Richard Craven, Elizabeth Craven and the Margrave of Brandenburg-Ansbach (among others) is from the DNB. I would not like to see the reference removed, in order to indicate to readers that this source is available for further reading and research. Hohenloh⁺ 11:39, 12 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
