Unavailable name[edit]

This is worse than original research, it's original nomenclature. It is not possible to perform a nomenclatural act on Wikipedia. The name "Elpistostegidae" has never been validly published – it does not exist as far as the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature is concerned. If nobody beats me to it, I will – I must – delete this article and merge its contents into that for Elpistostege. David Marjanović (talk) 20:37, 8 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
