I would be very grateful if someone could upload the photo of Wirths available at [1] My computer refuses to do what's necessary. Many thanks. Kingsbury

Nazi Experiment[edit]

I have read that Ayurvedic medicine proposes that polio usualy occurs after typhus."Jiva.com" After reading this article it occurs to me that the Nazis may have been trying to prove this. It is certain that they proved typhus from lice in prisons like Auchwitz caused Noma. Maybe they decided to study the effects of lice infestation on a mass scale in the Polish Ghetto. If the Ayurvedic is true then perhaps each different form of typhus causes a different disease such as Noma or Polio sometime later.Eloo64 (talk) 02:04, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Problematic edits[edit]

I think the latest series of edits [2] was problematic for two reasons. First, the edits were made to show that he did not know what he was doing, and that he did not command his subordinates. This is very hard to believe and should really be supported by sources. Second, these edits inserted a lot of quotations, even in the intro, essentially to prove the same point. Saying that, some changes were probably legitimate, a more neutral intermediate version might pass, but not the current version. My very best wishes (talk) 01:45, 23 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. There might be some legit content in there (some stuff from Langbein who was Wirths' secretary) but mostly it's just apologetics and weaseling, with a good portion of it written in a non-encyclopedic style.Volunteer Marek (talk) 03:02, 23 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
