Location of the article[edit]

I'm aware there's another Bruce Montgomery, and that the current status of Bruce Montgomery is as a disambiguation page, but I think this article should be moved to a name like Bruce Montgomery (Edmund Crispin) or something like that. As the man worked in several disciplines, and is not only notable under this pseudonym, I'm not sure about the idea of locating the article here. Thoughts? Given Edmund Crispin is a pseudonym I would tend to agree. The fact that he was someone with a number of "talents" would also suggest listed in the main as Bruce Montgomery in some form. The disam page should stay I guess. --91.125.132.51 (talk) 18:23, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that real names should be the primary location for an article wherever possible and practical, and this seems to be both of those things since he was notable in the disparate fields of music and detective fiction. I trust that Edmund Crispin would remain as a redirect to the new page. Accounting4Taste:talk 18:41, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Booklist order[edit]

As I noted in the accompanying edit summary when reverting a recent change, the manual of style says that an author's books are in chronological order of their production, not to a fictional timeline based on a character. Accounting4Taste:talk 19:11, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agree, but this is a separate topic, so I gave it a header. I agree with your revert, A4T, but I would also find the timeline info interesting/useful, especially as I am somewhat new to Fen, and might prefer to read him chronologically. rags (talk) 05:08, 31 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Music[edit]

Montgomery had a considerable output of musical compositions besides his cinema soundtracks. A list or link would be very helpful. I am adding an external link to the Bodleian Library page pro tem, but it is brief & not very satisfactory. I will continue to search for more info, but would appreciate help! --D Anthony Patriarche (talk) 07:43, 4 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
