A Google nGram search reveals that Fawcett is the first published author to have used the phrase legs akimbo. In a poem, Fancies of Spray and Petal, and referring to Puck sitting on a fern. Thomas Peardew (talk) 10:08, 6 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
