Map[edit]

Great to see that there are entries and maps for the regions for WFTDA. Seeing as there's actually member leagues in Canada for the North Central - Tri-City and Hammer City - would be great if the map were to include Canada, along with Ontario highlighted. (Granted, there are plans to form a new Canadian region once there are more Canadian members, but even once Toronto and Vancouver get in, along with Montreal, I'm sure that's still far off from happening.) Similarly, the East Region page should have London and Montreal represented on the map. Echoedmyron (talk) 15:02, 18 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Map does seem to need fixing, though Ontario appears to fall in the North Central region. Toronto, Tri-City, and Hammer City are in North Central. TimBRoy (talk) 07:04, 8 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I don't fully remember my intentions when I wrote that 2 years ago, but yes, those leagues are in the NC. But Rideau Valley is in eastern Ontario (Ottawa) and is now in the East, along with Montreal (Quebec) and London. Echoedmyron (talk) 13:54, 8 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

East Region existed before 2008.[edit]

WFTDA had two regions in 2007. The first Dust Devil in 2006 was a national championship tournament. The second one in 2007 was the West Regional championship, though it was still held early in the year (February, I believe). That year the East Regionals were played in Columbus, OH.

North Central and South Central were what was created in late 2008, as states were removed from East and West and added to the two new regions. TimBRoy (talk) 07:33, 16 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Will this page continue to exist after regions go away?[edit]

WFTDA has announced that a divisional structure will replace its existing regional structure. What happens to these four pages as a result?

Seems to me we'd likely need a Div 1, Div 2, and Div 3 page for starters, eventually a Div 4 when there is one... TimBRoy (talk) 15:28, 30 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I would think that these pages would continue to exist, as history of what the WFTDA used to use. A comparison might be the NHL's Patrick Division, which ceased to exist after 1993 when the NHL realigned. Might need to archive the references in these Region articles though, as it is likely that the WFTDA may not maintain those pages on their website.
