The Merge from E

There are a bunch of entries that were just merged here out of E. I think E is a better place for them, but I was curious what others had to say. - grubber 16:29, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

No, other than information directly related to how the symbols "E" and "e" serve as a letter of the alphabet, all other meanings should be kept on this disambiguation page. I would have thought E for the drug Ecstasy was very common usage?

E road and E additives (E number)

• Letter E is used for European roads in one hand and for expressways in some countries in the other hand.
• E numbers are also codes for substances that are permitted to be used as food additives for use within the European Union and Switzerland. (The "E" stands for "Europe". Commonly found on food labels, their safety assessment and approval are the responsibility of the European Food Safety Authority.)

Anyway, with the Brexit we do not know if British food will continue to be submitted to the European union authority numbering, but anyway, the european union might be rather notable for the E number be considered as an entry in this page.

The international E-road network is a numbering system for roads in Europe developed by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE).
