Whitehall Theatre (Dundee)[edit]

At the moment Whitehall Theatre (Dundee) redirects here. I would question whether this is appropriate. The Whitehall and the Rep are two very different theatres which have no direct connection with each other currently or historically and the only mention of the Whitehall on this page is a brief one (and one which is rather lacking in context). While they are both theatres, this seems a rather spurious reason for making the redirect to here. It could be argued that the Whitehall is notable enough to have its own article, but regardless of that I do not think anyone trying to find out about the Whitehall Theatre would find a redirect to this article of much use.

Equally the claim that the Whitehall was known as the Alhambra until the 1970s is misleading as the Alhambra was primarily a cinema which was converted into the Whitehall Theatre in 1969. Dunarc (talk) 20:45, 10 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
