Needs verification[edit]

The link to a year book (1939 U.C.L.A.) shows a June Dorothy Simpson, not Dorothy Louise Simpson. Based on the few images on line of Dorothy at a younger age, it "could" be her. However, I am not sure if that squares with the different name and the biographical entry that she married in NYC in 1938. It needs verification since in 1939 she would be 24 years old - slightly old for a 4 yr degree and this article says "attended" while the page says B.E. (Bachelors of English?) I am no historian of early 20th Century Academia... Note that on skimming thru the yearbook she is pictured both on the page linked to this article and on page 172 (if anybody can confirm it is her). Wouldn't a NYC marriage in 1938 imply that she was not at U.C.L.A. in 1939 ? That and the name discrepancy needs examination, I think. There may be explanations for these discrepancies but they should be looked at (if they haven't been already.71.31.146.16 (talk) 04:59, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
