Clarity; Image?[edit]

I find the last sentence of this article a bit awkward. "If a security trades above its highest n day high, then a long is established. If it trades below its lowest n day low, then a short is established." Does this mean that "longs" and "shorts" simply are established, or that it would be wise for someone to establish them?

Also, the use of "n" seems inappropriate in a context in which "n" does not go on to become part of a mathematical expression of some sort. If there is math that accompanies this topic, its inclusion would make for a better article. If there are no formulae that relate to this article directly, then phrases such as "of the last n days" are best written as "from a period of time," or something similar.

Lastly, "marking the area between those values on a chart", while sensible when one knows a little about the usage of a Donchian channel, is completely irrelevant to those who have no prior knowledge of the topic. The process described could be done perfectly well without doodling on a chart. Does the chart contain data from recent days? Is there any sort of recursive element to this process, ie using data from the most recent day for one set of marks, then the last two most recent days for the next marks, et cetera?

An image of a Donchian channel would make much of this clear without the need to take pains to describe the minute details associated with something that is, after all, an image (unless I have wholly misunderstood the article).
