HOUSE, excuse my blasphemy, WRITING TEAM makes a mistake[edit]

Towards the end of the episode, Dr. Kutner posits a diagnosis of hydatid cyst, a disease caused by parasitic cestodes of the genus Echinococcosis, notably Echinococcosis granulosus (which causes large fluid filled cysts primarily IN the LIVER) and Echinococcosis multilocularis (which causes a different form of the disease known as alveolar hydatid disease characterized by multiple smaller cysts covering the lungs or liver). Dr. House rejected Kutner's theory, stating that hydatid cysts would affect the patient's lungs, and certainly not her liver. UNTRUE. The cystic form affecting the liver primarily is the most common form by far. I don't even know where they got that one frankly. House's answer was wrong. The presence of a hydatid cyst in the liver certainly wouldn't cause the symptoms the woman was experiencing. They are largely asymptomatic until large or until they rupture, which would cause anaphylaxis long before it would cause anything else. --James Naeger (talk) 05:49, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

While Kutner and Taub were running scans of the patient, Kutner started talking about being a Klingon Dhar Master. I assume he meant Dahar Master (da-HAR)? Not Conversion[edit]

The woman did not convert to Hasidic Judaism, she said in the episode that she was a "baalat teshuva" - a Jew from birth who was not religiously observant in the past but returned to observance. This is not conversion at all. Is there a way to rephrase that section? Stainedglasscurtain (talk) 01:24, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
