All employers can have a reason

"no application at all to employers NOT in global markets," - this is patently false if part of the diversity business plan is to impact employee engagement - every company that has employees can theoretically gain. Too focussed on demographics?

This article seems to only consider the more obvious facets of diversification - namely those such as gender, skin colour etc. However diversity policies also consider the benefits of diversity on many more levels, such as background and experience - forming arguments against, for example, organisations being comprised solely of PhDs, or Harvard graduates, or people who have all gained their experience within the same industry, or worked they way up from shop floor etc. Shouldn't the diversity variables covered be more diverse? Ageism in particular is a growing problem and should be included into the sphere of diversity discussion. 69.174.171.59 (talk)
