Definitions[edit]

To my understanding, term "disulfiram-like drug" refers to drugs causing adverse reaction with alcohol due to accumulation of acetaldehyde, and not drugs causing adverse reactions by other mechanisms. This definition would exclude at least nitrovasodilators and propranolol from the list.

Also, none of the sources support the idea of nitrofurans causing adverse interactions with alcohol. On the contrary, literature seems to indicate there is no interaction (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7038249/). Xanara (talk) 14:36, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
