Logo vs. image[edit]

According to the discussion which took place at Template talk:Infobox amusement park, the absence of a "logo" parameter in the template should be dealt with by having the logo (if one exists) of the park placed in the "image" parameter and any actual images included within the text of the actual article. I have modified this article's infobox accordingly, though someone should review this edit and make sure I have done it correctly (and undo or modify it as necessary). Thanks! Alternative view[edit]

Would the article here, which gives a different view to the cited Guardian review, be worth mentioning?— Rod talk 08:31, 28 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Categories[edit]

Does this article need to be in both the "Banksy" and "Works by Banksy" categories? One is a subcategory of the other. I tried to remove the parent category but my edit was undone. ---Another Believer (Talk) 18:03, 17 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I undid it, then restored it, then it was undone again.
I don't think we need two Banksy categories. I think WP has a bizarre dislike of <artist-name> categories overall. A category of "Banksy" or "Renoir" or "George Stephenson" would be far simpler than the time-absorbing bureaucratic crap at present, to all except our self-absorbed crap bureaucrats.
As to which Banksy category of two, then it's clearly a failure of judgement to even care about such trivia. Andy Dingley (talk) 18:07, 17 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I only noticed the sub cat after my revert. Looking at Category:Bansky and Category:Works by Banksy there is some overlap. Cat Bansky includes some other shows, Barely Legal, Better Out Than In, and Turf War and a few other Bansky related articles. I think Dismaland counts as more than just a work, as its a show he put on exhibiting other peoples work as well as his own. There is some need for Works by Bansky as it fits with Category:Works by artist parent, but the distinction between the two categories is not clear. --Salix alba (talk): 18:13, 17 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I just created Template:Banksy. I invite others to help organize the navbox and order its contents. Might it be more helpful to have subcategories like Category:Paintings by Banksy, Category:Sculptures by Banksy, Category:Exhibitions by Banksy, etc? ---Another Believer (Talk) 18:31, 17 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I get the feeling that's just too many subcategories. People looking for Bansky's work will find everything they need under something more general like "works by Bansky." I say we keep it broad enough to include all his work, but we absolutely don't need to have anything appearing in any category as well as its parent category.
