He got ill and transferred to a hospital (Kratiko Nikaias), where he died. Greece666 (talk) 10:07, 18 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The Tragic Duel and the Betrayal of Cyprus[edit]

Some of the section on Ioannidis' role in the coup are referenced by a self-published book called "Η τραγική αναμέτρηση και η προδοσία της Κύπρου (The Tragic Duel and the Betrayal of Cyprus)", by Marios Adamides. As noted in WP:SELFPUBLISH, self-published books aren't considered WP:Reliable sources on Wikipedia, so we'll need to either find additional sources or remove the assertions that are only referenced by that book. The references were apparently added by the author of the book, so there's also an issue of WP:Conflict of interest, since the author is using his own work to support his assertions made about the coup.
