Memorial broadcast[edit]

There will be a memorial broadcast, on Labor Day, September 4, 2006, on WKCR-FM. Dogru144 16:55, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

External link duplicate?[edit]

The link to All About Jazz points to an article that is an un attributed copy of the Jazz Police obit that is already listed, should we include both external links?

This is an uploading error that should be fixed. They are distinctly different articles. Dogru144 01:28, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

References added[edit]

Thus, I removed the unreferenced tag. Dogru144 01:15, 4 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Science Fiction[edit]

Science Fiction should be added to the Ornette Coleman section of "as sideman." There may well be other albums missing; see http://www.discogs.com/artist/Dewey+Redman. 173.149.122.65 (talk) 00:00, 11 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Long list of references[edit]

There's a section in this article titled General References which has a long list of sources. Were all of these sources used in the writing of this article? If so, why are there are so few citations? If they were not used, why do they appear as references?
Vmavanti (talk) 18:03, 1 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It's impossible to tell, I think. I'd suggest two things: 1. the list is too long and 2. most, if not all, should be re-used as in-line sources. Martinevans123 (talk) 18:10, 1 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
There are also multiple editions of the same source, and this seems contrary to the general principle of using just the latest version. These could at least be trimmed out. Martinevans123 (talk) 21:18, 27 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
