Denigration[edit]

Obviously the person who wrote this has an agenda against Jameson. The tone detracts from the article.

I didn't write it, I am editing it. You, apparently, are not. The article is completely factual and backed up with references. The denigration is not in the article but in what others have said about him (and, as the article says, he has successfully sued for).
I reckon Jameson would just laugh for a little more fame. But this obeys all the rules for biographies of living people. SimonTrew (talk) 00:05, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Radio 2 shows[edit]

I distinctly remember when Derek Jameson joined Radio 2. Terry Wogan had had success with his Saturday evening chat shows on BBC 1 television, and was heading for his daily chat shows on the BBC, leaving his successful Radio 2 show at the end of 1984. I distinctly remember hearing Jameson's second Radio 2 morning show in March 1985, by that time he was using the "Morning, Morning, Jameson here' catch-phrase.

Wogan returned to Radio 2 in 1990 and in 1991 Jameson started his late-night show with his then wife Ellen.

The start time of the Ken Bruce show changed over the years, but I distinctly remember hearing him in 1986 and 1988 in his mid-morning slot.

I don't have any sources other than I was a regular Radio 2 listener throughout the 80s and 90s.

If anyone has any documentary evidence (Radio Times listings, etc) please let us know. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gannett2 (talkcontribs) 06:04, 5 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
