A local person with railway knowledge has suggested that the second station was at Lynn Hill (the next crossing) rather than at South Green. It would be useful to know which editions of the Ordnance Survey maps referred to above show this station. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sjh1949 (talkcontribs) 05:29, 19 July 2013‎

Lynn Hill was too close to the triangle junction and the access to the yard. The map clearly shows it being at the second crossing and the survival of the former station house there rather backs that claim. DiverScout (talk) 19:42, 21 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
