I have cleaned up some of the opionated points, as per your recommendation. This article was created partly at my request as the main article was locked (presumably due to vandalism) and I (as an anonymous user) had some info to add. Yes but there is quite a bit of information there. I imagine if others contribute the sections on males in film and the literary references in particular can be expanded extensively. It would really depend if you just want a simple list of references or a detailed article discussing masturbation in art and popular culture in a lot of depth. Just to elaborate, I don't want this to just be a list so that a typical pervert can go shopping for the films that they want. They have websites like CNDB if they want that kind of information. Of course, putting this data into an encyclopedia, readers can use the information in anyway that they want but I would like to see a more detailed discussion of how attitudes to masturbation are reflected in popular culture and how they have changed over time. Hence my initial listing of "positive" and "negative" portrayals but since this is too opinionated, I have changed these to brief descriptions to let readers make up their own minds as to whether the film scenes are positive or not. 210.50.56.32 (talk) 20:59, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
