Text about opening times[edit]

I have removed the following text:

--begin text--

The archaeological site of the Mycenaen cemetary is supposedly open daily from 8:30am to 3pm, however it is likely to be closed with no explanation or indication of when the site will be open for visitors. If you decide to attempt a visit, you will see brown signs indicating "Mycenaean cemetary of Dendra" from the main road and throughout the village of Dendra.

--end text--

The text is not referenced. The site is not known to be fenced, so how its it that it is closed to the public? If a fence has been installed please correct me.

The site is indeed fenced in. There is a large sign on the gate stating that it is open daily from 8:30am to 3pm, however we found it locked on both occasions that we stopped by to try to visit the tombs. Our visit was in mid-May 2009, just a few months ago. The site of Midea is also now fenced in. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.97.193.114 (talk) 16:54, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There is a fence and the site is open according to schedule. The fact that there was an irregularity in the opening hours during the first days should not be mentioned in the article. Therefore I will remove the text.--Stellea (talk) 10:02, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I do not understand your comment about the "first days". The sign does not indicate that the site is open only in certain months (such as from May 1 through October 31). The sign indicates that the site is open daily. And on two occasions spaced a few days apart, it was not. Incidentally, the sign was rusted as was the lock... it's hard to believe it was new. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.97.193.114 (talk) 20:33, 9 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dendra vs Dendera[edit]

Have an italicized thing at the top saying "Not to be confused with Dendera, an Ancient City in Egypt== — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.211.168.121 (talk) 06:02, 27 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
