On Rivernews External Link[edit]

Not too many people pay attention to this page, but I strongly believe that if a group of people were to look at this page, there would be consensus that the RiverNews link I've removed twice is nothing more than a link which provides information that is already provided by both the official town web site and the local newspaper web site. It offers nothing new, and while I have no proof, I suspect that the IP address(s) that continue adding it have nothing more than a personal vested interest in the site. -Coastalsteve984

Quick Comment about Article[edit]

Hi! Thanks for the great article. I grew up in Deltaville and lived near Horse Shoe Bend on SR 288A. I remember a lot of the history of the town and my grandfather, who lived there too before we all moved to Arizona, has a book on some of the history and old stories. Besides mentioning that the entire area was settled by mostly Scot-Irish immigrants I can't think of anything major that was left out. Of course, you could write about the Old Red Barn and several of the local businesses or churches that were around for what seemed like forever. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.40.238.163 (talk) 17:55, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think I know what book you are referring to, it's just a matter of getting to my parents place to get it. You are right, it would be nice to expand on some of the old history, but I don't really want to make the article an online version of "Portrait of Deltaville" either! I'll look at grabbing the book though and perhaps adding some of that history in.

Of course, anyone else who wants to jump in and add something is more than welcome to! Coastalsteve984 (talk) 06:42, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Neutrality Issue?[edit]

A user recently unblocked after a 2-year ban on vandalism has put a neutrality tag on this article, but given no reason why... I have left a message on the users talk page and will remove the tag if I do no recieve a reply. Coastalsteve984 (talk) 16:31, 13 April 2009 (UTC) Looking at it again I have realized that it is not really bias its just very well written for an encyclopedia article, sorry about that Nate1028 (talk) 11:58, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
