Hank's death[edit]

I think the problem is that the new version seems to say that Hank's alcoholism was strictly the result of back pain. I think that's inaccurate. Hank's drinking problems began in his teens and by his early 20s he was a full-fledged alcoholic. No doubt he drank in part to cope with his back pain, but alcoholism is a disease unto itself. Hank was an addict, and would have been one regardless of his bad back. His dependence on Morphine, on the other hand, was facilitated by a physician treating his back pain.
