The year she graduated from NYU[edit]

According to this reliable source^[1], she graduated at NYU in 2006 and stated that she was not Nola Darling's age, (her character from She's Gotta Have It (TV series).

Date of birth[edit]

Famousbirthdays.com is NOT a reliable source for our purposes. Please see Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard/Archive_224#Why_famousbirthdays.com_is_a_reliable_source_for_birth_dates. Searching the archives at WP:RSN normally finds that a source has been discussed before.

I have deleted her date of birth. From the Baltimore Sun (and there is something similar in the LA Times), " Age: She doesn't share her age. "It’s because last year … I was on three shows. Claire is 20, Nola is 26, and Shameeka is 34. I am none of those ages, and you know, Hollywood likes to box you very quickly. And the longer I can go unboxed, the longer I can continue to do the kind of work I want to do," Wise, said. "
