Proper picture for infobox[edit]

An OTRS ticket has come in noting that the same IP editor that vandalized several other articles about Nevada congressional candidates also swapped the photo for this article.

I have no preference - both are under valid licenses and depict the figure in different stages of their life.

Because there is significant WP:COI editing in this article - both for and against the candidate - rather than make any changes myself, I'm instead leaving this comment here for the community to decide the best outcome. The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 16:50, 28 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • I support the suit-wearing photograph over the wrestling photograph because it is more recent, gives a better view of his face, and is in my view a more typical "politician" photograph. Cheers, gnu57 17:06, 28 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Is Rodimer lying about his own political positions[edit]

I don't see why we are removing statements he's made about himself on his official accounts like when he announced his opposition to "men in women's bathrooms."[1] --2601:C4:C300:1BD0:708E:2510:279C:4124 (talk) 19:25, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Because ultimately posting the link to a candidate's own advertisement is promotional and that's not appropriate here. | Uncle Milty | talk | 20:50, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Technically I think you have to break each instance down case by case using WP:COMMONSENSE, if its notable, and its quite concise I don't see a problem with using WP:PRIMARY sources. Its a grey area. I see people quoting tweets for statements of facts on several biographies of living persons articles. EliteArcher88 (talk) 22:29, 8 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
