Christophe, Nice job man. I wanted to add all the stats from his 125 and 250 years. You beat me to it. Excellent Job! Santy.raghavan 16:28, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Born in Castellar del Vallés, not in Sabadell buddy :).

You're wrong. He was born in Sabadell and lives in Castellar del Vallés. See MotoGP official website.

This can't be right: "Pedrosa experienced real racing at the age of 19...". Should this be 9, not 19?--Rubber Nipple Salesman (talk) 19:39, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

 Done though it's all horribly unsourced. GedUK  07:18, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Estoril '06[edit]

Although I do agree the accident is Pedrosa's fault. It seems a bit harsh in my opinion, although I do admit it's not the worse thing I've read about Pedrosa. Also, may I request that someone finds a source for the BBC commentator's opinion as well please.--Skully Collins 13:15, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

When things have settled down after the conclusion of the 2006 season, I think someone should attempt to write a short description of the event - one that is free of subdued resentment.Fcf1 14:14, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This added section is very obviously biased and incorrect. It wasn't an attempted pass at all according to what has been said. Pedrosa got caught on the inside of Nicky (who braked too early). As a result, Pedrosa had to over-brake to compensate and wound up lowsiding. I've changed the section to more appropriately represent what happened. -Bob

"according to what has been said" Said by whom?! In fact, Pedrosa's own manager admitted the pass attempt and justified it, saying Pedrosa had a mathematical chance of winning the championship. Never mind that Hayden was leading the championship at the time. Watch the race again and tell me that wasn't a pass attempt. - Dave —Preceding unsigned comment added by Benchracer (talkcontribs) 07:18, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Birthplace?[edit]

If Pedrosa was born in the municipality of Castellar del Vallès, why does the article state he was born in Sabadell? AdeMiami (talk) 07:51, 12 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Alleged nickname[edit]

A novice editor has tried to add "The Silent Samurai" prominently, as a nickname "...commonly addressed...by his followers and supporters worldwide".

There is no Google mention (in the first five pages) of this alleged nickname except for those referencing the Red Bull documentary video, created as an hommage to Pedrosa - The Silent Samurai.

One (American ?) website asserts this was on the rear of his helmet, again heavily centred around the Red Bull film.

I don't think any time should be wasted on this.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 23:02, 14 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
