Did you know... that Dangerous (pictured), despite a career-ending injury sustained after winning the 1833 Derby Stakes, was able to walk over and claim two prizes unopposed before retiring later that year?

1. Dangerous completely disappears from the record after his 1835 export to France. What happened to him? 2. The walkover at Winchester is v. poorly sourced.
