Movie Theme and Interpretation[edit]

The movie was not well recieved, because many people do not understand what the movie is about. The movie's theme and interpretation is about self-realization, self actualization, and self-acceptance. This should be noted within the article.(LonerXL (talk) 00:00, 12 January 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Please refrain from adding unsourced interpretations to the article. That is considered original research. just64helpin (talk) 00:04, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sources Not Matching Claims[edit]

See the crowd walking out of the theatre reference in the last paragraph. Neither 1 or 3 makes that claim. There are also improper citations concerning plot details. Boston2austin 12:03, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've added a reference for the "Reception" information. Just64helpin 16:00, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Order of text[edit]

Wouldn't it be better if the plot summary was the first section and then the history of its released? Just seems weird for the article to go right to the history of the film and then moving to the plot summary. Douglasr007 03:51, 11 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see how it's "weird", since the history documents the making of the film, including development of the story, which would logically lead to the finished product. Just64helpin 10:15, 11 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sources not matching claims 2 and writers of music[edit]

The article states that the music is not by Daft Punk. Ignoring the ambiguity of this statement (Referring to writing, production, or performance?), the referenced citation makes no mention of the music in the film, and in itself is a poorly written and largely useless article, therefore removed. An appropriate citation is required. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.30.119.203 (talk) 17:13, 21 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The reference was originally at the end of the preceding sentence regarding casting. This was before the film was released; since the film is now released, citation is not needed, since the film itself (specifically the end credits) can be used as a source. just64helpin (talk) 17:36, 21 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
PS: Actually, the reference does mention the lack of Daft Punk music: "Helmers bizarrely choose not to use their own catchy tunes here, the one thing that might have given pic slim commercial legs." just64helpin (talk) 17:43, 21 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
