The result of the move request was: not moved. Dads will be redirected to Father. Favonian (talk) 12:30, 10 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Dads (2013 TV series)Dads – The user Crumpled Fire moved the page back in August without a discussion about it, I would of reverted it back myself, but it said I couldn't. Blurred Lines 04:34, 3 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • To most people the primary meaning of "dads" without disambiguator, is a colloquial word meaning "fathers", and not a television series. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 05:16, 3 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose, and instead redirect Dads to Father, as both a redirect from plural and a redirect from alternative name. As Anthony said, "dads" is a common colloquial word meaning "fathers". Thus the primary topic of "dads" should be "fathers", not an American TV programme. Zzyzx11 (talk) 07:17, 3 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. As mentioned above, the primary use of "dads" is not the television show. --Logical Fuzz (talk) 08:06, 3 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • The article name Dads didn't even existed before sources announced about the show, it wasn't even created before to be a redirect to Fathers. When the article was first created about the show, it got move by a user without discussion, which is as I mentioned before. --Blurred Lines 11:39, 3 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose I agree, "Dads" should redirect to "Father". This TV series is a U.S. program and, given the reviews, it might be canceled very soon. The concept of "Dads" is much larger than this bad TV show. Liz Read! Talk! 13:12, 3 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose Lame flavor-of-the-month television series. If I go up to a person and say "Dads" they won't think of this show. It's not like "Simpsons" where people primarily associate it with the TV show. Taylor Trescott - my talk + my edits 00:32, 4 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strong oppose clearly the primary topic is "father", and should redirect there. -- 76.65.129.3 (talk) 05:31, 4 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment procedurally as part of WP:BRD, this should have resulted in the page being restored to "dads" before starting a discussion to move it away from "dads". Though clearly, it would not have survived long at its original title. -- 76.65.129.3 (talk) 05:33, 4 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. Dads should redirect to Father or Dad (disambiguation). -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:40, 7 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
