Cleanup[edit]

The 4th paragraph of the history seems completely out of line with the rest of the history section :"In December 1989..." Probably 1992-3? In any case, I didn't find the corresponding dates on the German Wikipedia page, and I speak enough German to understand most of the article. Hayazin (talk) 19:54, 6 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This article looks like a very rough (machine?) translation from German, and needs a lot of cleanup for be a good English-language article. —LrdChaos 17:47, 3 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'd agree - and a worse translator even than Google Translate. Especially on technical terms. Matthew Brown (Morven) (T:C) 07:39, 4 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

New translation started, with additional material. First three sections done anonymously; I have since created an account, and will do the rest while logged in. --Concertmusic 01:24, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The section on the Brühl accident is not quite correct. Better information can be found in German Wikipedia. I'll eventually try to correct that section. SVT137 (talk) 20:39, 30 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Images removed from "bogies" section[edit]

I've taken out the two images from the Bogies section of the article. It's virtually imposible to make out any detail on thumbnail-sized versions, and it isn't much better with the larger-sized images. This is what I removed:

[[Image:DBAG 101 Drehgestell.jpg|thumb|Drehgestell der Baureihe 101 mit großen Rädern und kurzem Radsatzabstand]]
[[Image:DBAG ICE 1 Drehgestell Triebkopf.jpg|thumb|Drehgestell des [[DB Baureihe 401|ICE 1]] mit dem größeren Radsatzabstand und den kleineren Rädern]]

Cleanup[edit]

I tried doing some copyediting on a couple of sections, but I soon realized that I needed either more expertise with trains or to be fluent in German to continue. This page is a rough translation from the german WP page on this subject and needs the attention of a translator before it can be copyeditied. Tony P 00:52, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
