This album features numerous notable references to the Donkey Kong Country franchise, but I'm not really sure where they should be mentioned in the article. In particular:
The track "Pirate's Scorn" is a cover of a song from the Donkey Kong Country TV series.
The title references the Crystal Coconut from the Donkey Kong Country TV series, particularly the episode title Legend of the Crystal Coconut.
The album artwork features a Crystal Coconut resembling the ones from Donkey Kong 64, a gorilla skeleton wearing a tie (a clear reference to Donkey Kong himself), Kremlings, and a DK coin.
