Boy King[edit]

The text reports that the psalter likely was created for Canute VI, "a boy king, just seven years old." However, the article on Canute VI reports that he was nearly 20 years old when he became king. PurpleChez (talk) 16:36, 3 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

According to the Grove Encyclopedia of Medieval Art and Architecture, he was seven years old (in 1170). I cannot see any citation in the article on Canute VI to support the claim that he was made king in 1182.Yakikaki (talk) 16:41, 3 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I found the source for the confusion. He was coronated as co-ruled in 1170, and then as sole ruler in 1182. I have updated the article about Canute VIYakikaki (talk) 17:07, 3 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
