Transit Authority wrong?[edit]

Why is the Transit Authority shown as "West" Yorkshire when the rest of the article (correctly) places the station in "North" Yorkshire? Gary Taylor PR (talk) 21:42, 30 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Gary Taylor PR, I cannot remember exactly when, but in no small part to the overcrowded car parking situation at Steeton and Silsden, the WYPTE agreed to extend the METRO area into North Yorkshire to Cononley and Skipton railway stations. Regards. The joy of all things (talk) 21:49, 30 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi - sorry for the late response. There are MCard Zone 6 and 7 extension tickets for rail, but MCard itself doesn't extend outside of West Yorkshire. The (M) symbol isn't on the totems at the station either. So the Transit Authority is North Yorkshire, it's just that there are special tickets between the two areas. This applies to Skipton and stations between Harrogate and Horsforth as well. Gary Taylor PR (talk) 14:10, 5 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
