A few problems[edit]

  • I could not find any definitive reference for the number of state marshals. The infobox says 265 and refs this list, but there is no total on the list itself (I refuse to count every name). The article originally stated "approximately 250" without any ref. The Hartford Courant article says "over 200" but that was 2009. The applicable statute lists maximum allowed by county, which, if one totals it up, comes to 318 - and does not speak to how many there actually are. A suitably referenced number would be much better than the "more than 200"/2009 ref I used.
  • I left in the information in the "Equipment" section, copy editing it, titling it and tagging it with {{cn}}. The only ref I could find about the warrant unit said "about 20" marshals and 3 cars, without mentioning if those 3 were local or statewide.
  • Lots of primary sources. It would be wonderful to have more reliable secondary sources.
