Untitled[edit]

I am aware that this page was deleted in July 2006, and I believe this is because it was an abomination of an article. I am currently re-writing it with accurate and important information, as the subject of the article is an acccomplished musician and related to a wide group of musicians, including his relatively successful brother. Full citations as necessary will be added in the very near future. -torqtorqtorq

All right, I have added about as much as my weary eyes will allow me to for tonight, and I will be working on this and its related articles tomorrow. Hopefully someone will remove its speedy deletion tag soon, because I've spent enough time on it and believe it to be an important article on Wikipedia. The Blood Brothers is a very popular band and Cody Votolato's influence is felt through much of the music scene he is involved in, and I think plenty of fans of this band would like to read this article. Searching for information on the musician from disparate sources has proved immensely more difficult than simply accessing this wikipedia entry. -torqtorqtorq —Preceding unsigned comment added by Torqtorqtorq (talkcontribs) 02:50, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It was suggested that this article on Cody Votolato be merged into the article for his main band, the Blood Brothers. However, to do so would either add an unnecessary amount of information about this member of the band to that page, or eliminate much information about Votolato that I believe is relevant to fans and those that are interested in information on him specifically.
Secondly, I find it necessary to have a separate article for the guitarist because he is an accomplished musician with several other bands, at least one of which he is known widely for being a member of (Waxwing). To eliminate the article on Votolato and merge the information into the Blood Brothers page would make it harder for those reading the Waxwing page to find specific information about the guitarist.
Also, if we were to merge the information from this article about a single musician into the article for his main band, why would we not also eliminate the articles on the two singers of the band? One of those articles (Jordan Blilie) is a mere paragraph with no citations. (I am planning to improve this article today and add citations, as there is a wealth of information on Blilie available on fansites and webzines.)
I really don't see a need to get rid of this article.

It's a silly thing, but I saw that Cody's High School Graduation is in need of a source. I went to high school with him and he graduated when I did. Is that enough to say that yes he did? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2603:3023:901:3700:2C62:D4D2:F1C4:8FD0 (talk) 20:04, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I came to say the same thing! I vaguely remember him from playing quarters in cooking class... 2603:3023:901:3700:E0D7:507C:786C:EEBD (talk) 19:38, 21 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
